From the Artist:
Collage is a part of my art practice, but it isn't my main medium for art making. I create collage when I want to work playfully and because of this, my subconscious mind takes over and brings to the surface anything that I've been thinking about. During this time, I was developing my skills as a tarot card reader and really identified with the Queen of Cups card. By identifying with the card, I was able to really understand this character, but through my art practice, I was able to reinvent her.
