From the Artist: Emerging is a large abstract fluid acrylic-encompasses translucent, feathery layers of blue, yellow, and grey on a white background.
From the Curator: Carol’s work is always impactful and this one is no exception. Bold blue and green layered over grey and yellow invoke a tangible color-study effect. As with any abstract, the eye is in the beholder as to what this piece calls to mind. I interpret the fluidity as the culmination layered interactions found in nature.
