This collage reminds me of the song Call Me by the 90's band Dee-Lite. (What a fun trio!) I think of all of my collage work as self-portraits because what I am contemplating always seems to manifest itself on the page. During this time, I was thinking about a birthday celebration that I'd been to a year prior. Little did I know it would be the last time that we would be together because the pandemic hit a month later. Maybe I created this collage because I just felt like celebrating and maybe I have been feeling just a little disconnected lately. Call me?
