The one eyed bullfighter, Juan Jose Padilla, is a hero of mine. While doing research on bullfighting I learned that a suit of lights takes a team of people three months to make. In another article, a matador being interviewed said that the suit of lights animates the performer and allows him to BECOME the matador. I’m fascinated by this brutal, but elegant sport and by Padilla’s grit and tenacity.
